Lamdon Leh Campus

The 51-acre campus at Leh serves as the Campus of the Lamdon Model Senior Secondary School with 17-acre of build-up area and 6-acre of plantation area. Infrastructure & avenues for learning are in abundant with the school. The school has a fleet of school buses for ferry of children from their homes to the school and vice-versa.Spacious class rooms, laboratories, library, conference hall, hall for major cultural activities & spacious playgrounds are main attraction/major assets of the school. For joy and betterment of small kids of kindergarten section,the school has added a 'Children Garden'.His Holiness also supports the school through Dalai Lama Trust for some of the major projects such as the mammoth Science Block which come up recently and Lamdon Green Project.

Basketball Court

Basketball is a popular game of our school. Lamdon School have a well maintained basketball court of standard size. Our team always looks forward to good competition that brings laurels to the school.

A/V Room

The new audio-visual room with the state-of-art sound and multi-media facilities offers a comfortable environment for various activities. All departments use it actively for exploration into the world of knowledge through films, documentaries, e-based learning programmes,project presentations and more. The well furnished Audio Visual Room has a capacity of approximately 50 students, it is also equipped with a projector, state-of-art sound quality, DVD player and a latest computer. The A.V. Room is used for Audio Visual Study of different subject like Science, Mathematics, Social Science etc.

Music Room

Music is the mediator between the profound and the erotic life. Listening to and taking an interest in Music reproduces imagination. To make our students master this universal language, our school has a full-fledged music room equipped with a variety of musical instruments like Harmonium, Flute, Tabla, Casio, Keyboard, etc. Here the students learn both vocal & instrumental music as it trains the brain for higher forms of thinking. Students are trained in classical music, light music, live patriotic & devotional songs by skilled music teacher.

Computer LAB

Technology advancement has affected every sphere of life especially education. This has changed our perception of what a school should provide for its students. In times of booming technology the computer labs at Lamdon School Leh provide the appropriate platform to the students to be future technocrats.The computer labs are used not just to hone the skills of computer geeks but also provide an exposure to the novices.With four main labs which cater to the needs of senior, middle, junior and nursery sections, the labs also provide facilities to the students to explore the world through internet. It is in these labs that the teachers also get the facilities to learn while they work in their separate labs on the computers. Walk in any time of the day, you'll always find a few teachers and students at work in these labs.

Math LAB

The mathematics Laboratory is a place where anybody can experiment and explore patterns and ideas. It is a place where one can find a collection of games, puzzles, and other teaching and learning materials. The materials are meant to be used both by the students on their own and with their teacher to explore the world of mathematics, to discover, to learn and to develop an interest in mathematics. The activities create interest among students or in anybody who wants to explore, and test some of their ideas, beliefs about mathematics.

Reading, Writing & Theater Club

This club has been started since the month may 2016 with the sole intention to create interest among the students towards literature and motivate them. We also aim to promote reading among students. Through this we hope to hon the writing and theater skills of the interested students by conducting workshop and talks by expert. We have enrolled around 30 students in each three sections.

Auditorium Hall

Auditorium is equipped with the most modern and audio visual facilities and a massive seating capacity of approximately 800. The auditorium hosts numerous event including annual day award functions & Inter School Competitions. It is fitted with a projector, effective & modern light and sound system. All the major functions, morning assembly and various competitions are held in this auditorium which gives a variety of exposure to the students in showcasing their talents and groom their inborn virtues.

Creativitis Room

The Creativity Room is a space created for children to unleash their imagination through fun arts and crafts projects: all activities are aimed at empowering children and building up confidence. Children experiment with different techniques and mediums - water colour, oil pastels, acrylic paint, pastels, collage, mosaic, paper mache and so on...the list is endless!

Recording Room

The recording Room is a state of the art facility that offers students real time experience of being in a studio. All the school functions have their voice over recordings in the studio under purview of the teachers and the students.


The school provide hostel facility to outstation students (For both boys and Girls) who are keen to be a part of the Lamdon School. Housed within the school premises, the hostel extends all requisite facilities to provide the students an environment as good as home. The state of the art facilities ensure a comfortable and healthy living environment. It is truly a home away from home, where each student receives personal attention and is encouraged to not only develop his academic skills but also to become a well balanced and caring individual. Participation in co-curricular activities is encouraged. Hostel gives the students an opportunity to meet peers from other regions and cultures.
